QNB Bank continues a long running legacy of promoting student creativity as its annual art calendar contest marks 30 years.
High school students in Upper Bucks County, Upper Perkiomen Valley, Souderton and Colmar in Montgomery County; Allentown, Coopersburg and Wescosville in Lehigh County are invited to submit their original artwork for a chance to be featured in the 2026 bank calendar.
QNB Bank, with headquarters in Quakertown Borough, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of QNB Corp. It operates 12 branches in Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh counties, according to the financial organization’s website.
The published calendar is free to customers at all branches and is expected to be available in November, 2025.
“While the artwork style is always the same, a pen and ink drawing, each student art calendar contest has a different theme,” said Steven Burkhardt, QNB Bank content marketing manager.
“The calendar is a QNB Bank tradition in high demand every year.”
This year’s theme is travel.
“As always, 14 winners will be selected and receive a prize of $100 deposited into a QNB savings account, and their artwork will be published in the calendar,” he said.
According to Burkhardt, the calendar is a chance for students and teachers to join others who have had their work published in previous years.
“Last year’s contest entries came from nine different schools in our market area. Thousands of calendars were printed and have found their way into the homes of our communities,” Burkhardt said.
The annual contest is a “win-win for everyone.”
He said having created and sustained the annual contest for the past 30 years, students and youth have a chance to be actively engaged in creating their own artwork – and an opportunity through the contest to see it published.
“The calendar is a QNB Bank tradition in high demand every year,” Burkhardt said.
Founded in 1877 as Quakertown National Bank in 2008, QNB Bank changed from a national bank to a state bank entity. The independent community banking organization offers a full range of banking and financial services to individuals (retail) and commercial banking customers.
