Video footage of heavy equipment tearing-thru the East Wing of the White House conjured-up visions of Elon Musk wielding a giant chainsaw at CPAC, presented by Javier Milei, the president of Argentina, who took a chainsaw to his own government. We the People are the real target scheduled for demolition by billionaires, and their minions, who have launched an all-out assault on our government.
Trump’s cronies and backers have planned, for years, to replace the “Administrative State” with a religious oligarchy – the Project 2025 manifesto has finally heralded their revolution.
Its goals?
The decapitation of military leadership, gutting the State Department, CIA, FBI, DOJ, and the broader federal government of anything that they deem “woke” or supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is their promise to a base who is more than willing to trade essential liberty for a would-be king.
During the most recent “No Kings” protests, millions of Americans took to the streets and parks to protest the unbridled lust for power being demonstrated by Donald Trump: His enormous financial commitment to ICE, his willingness to deploy the military to do law enforcement, his ignoring judicial rulings from the courts (up to and including the Supreme Court), and his ignoring the power of the purse of Congress.
It’s not just that this administration does not obey the Constitution, they don’t believe in it.
Trump’s reaction to the First Amendment right to lawfully assemble? He posted and AI generated video of himself as a Top Gun fighter pilot, wearing a crown, flying a jet named King Trump, and bombing peaceful protestors with excrement. This fictional assault on citizens he is sworn to protect, is a confession, a wish-fulfillment-fantasy of how to deal with “the enemy within.”
The same day Vice President Vance went to Camp Pendleton, California, and told assembled Marines a story from his own basic training. Vance said that when he was a Marine, they lined up for Sunday services, Catholics in one line and Protestants in the other. He said that one Marine failed to get into either line so the drill instructor yelled at him asking what the hell he was doing. He responded that he was an atheist. He was then ordered to get into line immediately and quickly jumped in with the Catholics. Vance delivered the story as if it had a positive outcome. The story mirrors the objectives of Project 2025, of Christian Nationalism, a re-writing of our forefathers’ intentions. His story contradicts the First Amendment principle of separation of church and state. The story emphasizes that atheists are not entitled to their beliefs, versus the reality up until now, that every Marine is willing to defend, even die, for the freedom of every American to believe as they wish. The mental confusion perpetrated by this administration could not be more profound – they assault the Constitution these young troops are sworn to defend, yet demand loyalty.

Thomas Paine told us that we must declare our independence and become a nation of laws not men. In England, the King was the law, and also the head of the church. The president and vice president are a two-man wrecking crew to our constitutional guarantees, whether religious freedom for all, or due process under the law. The president says that he hates his opponents, that they are out to destroy the country, and that they are unfit to govern. What is a military, composed of at least a third of the people he hates, to do with that message?
Hopefully, Congress and our military leadership will awaken and fulfill their sworn oath to the Constitution. Our Founding Fathers pledged allegiance to a document, not a man. The Trump administration is a wrecking ball steadily chipping away and our democracy in order to replace it with autocratic rule by a would-be king. And We the People just may be the last line of defence.
