Bio:

Stacy Garrity is the 78th Treasurer of Pennsylvania and a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Her military career spanned 30 years and included three deployments in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, where she earned two Bronze Stars and the Legion of Merit. Professionally, she rose from an accountant to become one of the first female vice presidents at Global Tungsten & Powders Corp. A native of Bradford County and a graduate of Bloomsburg University, she currently oversees more than $170 billion in state assets. She and her husband, Dan, reside in Bradford County.

Key Issues: Stacy Garrity is focused on fiscal oversight and transparency, emphasizing the elimination of fraud and inefficiency to protect taxpayer dollars. Her administration has identified roughly $50 million in annual overpayments and has returned more than $1 billion in unclaimed property to Pennsylvanians, including over 450 military decorations to veterans. Garrity prioritizes high ethical standards and accessible savings programs, managing the PA 529 College & Career Savings Program and chairing the national ABLE Savings Plans Network for individuals with disabilities.
