Rebecca Prendergast is an independent candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 145th Legislative District. Raised in Coopersburg around her family’s woodworking business, she is a small business owner, Springfield Township farmer, and active community volunteer. Her civic involvement includes serving on the board of Hair of the Dog animal rescue, mentoring young women through the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley, and donating thousands of pounds of fresh produce grown on her farm to local food programs. Running outside the traditional two-party system, Prendergast focuses on responsible economic growth, preserving farmland, supporting local small businesses, and providing transparent, nonpartisan representation for Upper Bucks County families.
The former Republican is running to give voters a more effective choice than entrenched GOP incumbent Craig Staats.
