The hours and days immediately after voting ends could offer foreign adversaries like Russia, Iran and China or domestic extremist groups the best chance to mess with America’s decision through disinformation.
The crimes include efforts to persuade former Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to certify the counting of the electoral votes on the afternoon of Jan. 6, 2021.
The lawsuit accuses Luzerne County Manager Romilda Crocamo of violating state election law and it claims her policy will “lead to irreparable harm to the voting rights” in the county.
