The Cleanup Bill for the Fracking Boom Is Already Here in States Like Pennsylvania

In 1990 officials were warning the government that they needed a plan to make sure the costs to clean up the mess being made by the oil industry were not passed on to the public. If the public wants to avoid picking up the tab for the oil tycoons, it better get a plan of its own in place.

Could Pennsylvania’s Budget Impasse End Up in Court?

“I would like to know if the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, the other school districts in Pennsylvania and in Bucks County, might be interested in starting a class action lawsuit against the state for the calculable amount of money that we are losing as a school district ‘cause it’s going to blow up everybody’s budget,” Centennial School District Board Member Michael Hartline.
