Democratic State Rep. Chris Rabb’s bill would allow courts across the commonwealth to sentence offenders for certain crimes to participate in restorative justice programs.
The 11-bill package includes solar for schools, prevailing wages for green energy, and e-waste recycling.
The groups, including the state conference of the NAACP and the League of Women Voters, argued the court’s 3-1 decision could disenfranchise “untold thousands” of Pennsylvania voters and millions more across the country if it is more broadly adopted.
