During Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, he created the Graduation On-Demand for Deployed Soldiers program in partnership with VBrick Systems, LTI DataComm, and Operation Homefront. This partnership provided live and on-demand streaming of high school graduation ceremonies at no cost to service members serving overseas.

In 2021, Mr. Coyle was presented with the Kevin ODonnell, Jr. Service to SFWA award by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association for his years of service as their A/V director and technical director of the Nebula Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in Speculative Fiction. has also served on the Lower Makefield Township Planning Commission since February of 2023.
