Governor Shapiro Reiterates Support for Bell to Bell K-12 Cellphone Ban Across Pennsylvania
The state Senate voted to approve a ban Tuesday with bipartisan support. The bill next moves to the House where it is expected to pass.
Jarrett Coleman is a commercial airline pilot and former member of the Parkland School Board. A lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley and Upper Bucks County, he lives in Breinigsville with his wife and two children. His work in local government has focused on increasing institutional transparency, challenging state-level mandates, and advocating for a return to “citizen-legislators” through the implementation of term limits and the elimination of lawmaker pensions.

“This bill would allow you to set aside any state law, you could pollute the air as much as you want, you could pollute the water as much as you want, you could do anything essentially that you wanted that would ordinarily violate the law,” said former Secretary for PA’s Department of Environmental Protection David Hess.
Bucks County State Senator Jarrett Coleman earned a paltry 10%, supporting several bills that would harm our environment or weaken environmental protections, including a bill to prolong the use of PFAS chemicals in firefighting foam.
Democrats gain seats in the State House.
