served as a volunteer with Souderton Telford Main Streets for nine years; I was engaged in all the preparing, planning and participating in many community events. As a Board Member for Main Streets, in particular, the Executive Board, I gained the experience, perspective and knowledge to further participate in the improvement of my local community and surrounding communities.
To continue and enhance my qualification as a Councilmember, I am continuously engaged in my education for the Certified Borough Official designation.
While on Council, I always look to make sure that we manage the Borough’s finances in a fiscally responsible manner and ensure the Telford Police and Fire departments have the resources and funds to serve our community.
In a current climate of divisiveness, where so many politicians and leaders are angry, bitter and uncooperative, I am part of a team of Council-members who work together as a unit. When Souderton Telford Main Streets ended, I worked with Telford Borough Council to assure we maintained the various community events they supported.
Our Telford Night Market, ending our nineteenth year at the Telford Marketplace, is an example of the benefits of a Borough Council working together.
