Public Service: Former council president, served from 2015 before stepping down in 2023. During her tenure on council, McLaughlin served on the police committee, the fire committee, budget and finance, street lights and property and served as liaison to the planning commission, zoning hearing board, recreation board, shade tree commission, and the Environmental Advisory Council.
Under McLaughlin’s presidency, the council approved the second phase of the Steeple View redevelopment project and laid the groundwork for the hiring the town’s first borough manager.
