“I thought it was full of platitudes. I saw no apology whatsoever that I would expect to be right out of the gate. It should say they’re embarrassed by his comments,” said Telford Borough Councilwoman Meredith Torres.
The ACLU and Department of State argued in Commonwealth Court that election officials don’t use the handwritten dates on ballot envelopes for anything. GOP lawyers say it’s a tool against fraud.
“Every incident of violence or intimidation at the polls must be addressed,” said Philip Hensley-Robin, Executive Director of Common Cause Pennsylvania.
Saturday’s free community event will have over 55 local vendors, as well as lawn games, balloon animals, music and refreshments.
