The free event is a walkable music festival where front porches, front yards and driveways will be transformed into “stages” showcasing local bands and musicians.
“It seemed to be the worst time in our country to have a Peace Center close, so I decided to make myself available,” said Barbara Simmons, who is coming out of retirement to once again lead the organization.

With Vice President JD Vance calling Kirk “a martyr for Christianity” and Cardinal Timothy Dolan suggesting he’s “a modern-day St. Paul,” many on the religious right hope this moment will galvanize young conservatives to become more engaged in evangelical and Catholic churches.
“Bucks and Montgomery [county] families are opening letters right now warning them their health care premiums are about to skyrocket, and Brian Fitzpatrick is squarely to blame,” said Harvie, a Bucks County Commissioner and PA-01 congressional candidate.
Law Professor Tim Bakken filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court and says he wants to protect free speech and academic freedom. He says the school began scrutinizing faculty speech after a January executive order from President Donald Trump.
The free Family Recovery Course will take place Saturday mornings for three weeks — Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 11 — from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Natural gas was pitched as a stopgap between fossil fuels and renewables. Instead, it has derailed Pennsylvania’s energy transition.
“This event offers Bucks County residents a safe, convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents and take a meaningful step toward safeguarding their personal information,” said AARP Pennsylvania’s Yocasta Lora.
