Shapiro referenced President Trump on Tuesday, saying some people “in the dark corners of the internet, all the way to the Oval Office, want to cherry-pick which instances of political violence they want to condemn.”

“I would like to know if the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, the other school districts in Pennsylvania and in Bucks County, might be interested in starting a class action lawsuit against the state for the calculable amount of money that we are losing as a school district ‘cause it’s going to blow up everybody’s budget,” Centennial School District Board Member Michael Hartline.
“Discarding thousands of ballots every election is not a reasonable trade-off in view of the date requirement’s extremely limited and unlikely capacity to detect and deter fraud,” the appeals court panel wrote.
“On the one hand, I’m glad that the Senate Republicans have finally acknowledged that this is an issue and that they thought that they had to in fact move a bill, but unfortunately the bill that they moved is not a solution,” said State Sen. Steve Santarsiero.
“Nothing is closed, nor has anything been taken down or altered,” a park representative stated in an email.
Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration said in letters sent Tuesday that state-supported universities, libraries, early-childhood education programs and county health departments also will see delays.
Pennsylvania school districts rely on both state and federal funding. Both remain uncertain.
The commonwealth is not just suffering from trouble filling teaching positions – the fallout from that difficulty is landing disproportionately on students with special needs, students living in poverty, and students of color.
