After his two-part podcast about conflict in the Central Bucks School District, “The School Board Wars,” Campbell Robertson returned to report on the current climate. He found schools disrupted by low morale, broken bathrooms, staff shortages and no contracts. As the Beacon reported, because arguments about masks, reopening schools, parents’ rights and free speech dominated Central Bucks public forums, school board meetings have become chaotic. Irrelevant topics like “critical race theory” fill the agenda. That apparently leaves little room for the bread-and-butter issues of Central Bucks school management, as indicated in “While Politics Consume School Board Meetings, a Very Different Crisis Festers.”
