These Bucks County Republican lawmakers voted late Friday night to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution to say that women are not guaranteed any rights relating to abortion or public abortion funding. Senate Bill 106 needs to pass once again in the next legislative session in January, and if it does, this proposal would be placed on the May ballot for Commonwealth voters to decide whether to add this to the constitution: “there is no constitutional right to taxpayer-funded abortion or other right relating to abortion.”

State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson represents the 6th District in the Pennsylvania Senate, serving parts of Bucks County. He is retiring this year.
State Sen. Bob Mensch represents the 24th District in the Pennsylvania Senate, serving parts of Bucks County.
