Doylestown Democrats Gear Up For November Municipal Election With Summer Fundraiser

Municipal elections are important, greatly influence day-to-day living for constituents, and impact public education, property taxes, oversight of elections, and more.

The Doylestown Democratic Committee will be holding their summer fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Cross Culture Restaurant in Doylestown.

The event’s guest speaker is Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10).

“Our event is important to raise funds for candidates that impact people’s lives most,” said Connor O’Hanlon, chair of the Doylestown Democrats and host of the Greater Society Podcast.

Appearing on this year’s November 7 municipal election ballot are Central Bucks School Board candidates Rick Haring and Susan Gibson, along with Judy Dixon and Jennifer Herring for Borough Council, County Commissioner incumbents Diane Marseglia and Bob Harvie, Clerk of Courts candidate Eileen Albillar, incumbents Kris Ballerini for County Treasurer and Linda Bobrin for Register of Wills, and Patti Campi for County Coroner.

“Local elections impact your neighborhoods, your parks, and most importantly your schools,” O’Hanlon said. “Help us support strong and bolder leaders here in Doylestown and enjoy some wonderful food from a local business while you’re at it.”

Tickets for the event are $65 and include dinner.

Cross Culture Indian Restaurant is located at 62-64 West State Street in Doylestown.
