Central Bucks School Board’s Democratic Majority Members Endorse Joe Khan for Pennsylvania Attorney General

“It means so much to have the support of these amazing public servants. They are heroes to Central Bucks parents like me," said Khan.

Joe Khan, Bucks County candidate for Pennsylvania Attorney General, has received the endorsement of Central Bucks School District Democratic board members Karen Smith, Mariam Mahmud, Heather Reynolds, Dana Foley, Susan Gibson, and Rick Haring.

Khan, former Bucks County solicitor, is also a CBSD parent. He says that this endorsement is particularly meaningful to him.

“It means so much to have the support of these amazing public servants. They are heroes to Central Bucks parents like me who needed champions who would protect our kids’ schools from extremism and corruption,” said Khan. “And they know that as Attorney General, I will be relentless in enforcing the constitutional right to an education for all Pennsylvania children.”

School Board Director Rick Haring cited Khan’s commitment to public education as the reason for his endorsement.

“Joe has consistently shown his commitment to our district. At a time when public schools are constantly under threat, it’s essential that we choose leaders who will fight the hard battles and prioritize our students.”

Heather Reynolds, who won the school board seat in the most heavily red region of CBSD, noted Khan’s admirable record as both an attorney and a father.

“Most of us know of Joe’s trailblazing tenure as our County Solicitor. Many of us know of his sterling record as a 16-year prosecutor,” said Reynolds. “But before I knew any of that, my family and I just knew Joe as a devoted dad trying to build a better world for his kids.”

Reynolds will join her fellow Democrats at Saturday’s party endorsement meeting where Khan is hoping to garner even more support for his run for Pennsylvania Attorney General. He is running in the primary against former two-term Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, former Montgomery County Chief Defender Keir Bradford-Grey, State Rep. Jared Solomon, and Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer. The primary election is April 23.
