Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market is back in a big way.
This summer’s market is the largest one so far; this time taking the TileWorks of Bucks County by storm on August 15.
Located in Doylestown, TileWorks is also known as the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, founded by Henry Chapman Mercer. TileWorks is a National Historic Landmark and working history museum.
“After an unprecedented turnout for our April market, we are expecting an even larger crowd for this event at TileWorks, which will offer more space and parking,” said co-organizer of the Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market Anja Keister.
The Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market will feature more than 80 vendors, live music, artists, political activist groups and food trucks.
The market strictly prohibits AI artwork from being sold, which means everything is made by human hands.
“We go through every application to try and prevent any AI art or drop shipping because we want to focus on artists and crafters and respect their work,” Keister said. “We also heavily curate the event to try and bring a mix of different types of vendors, food and music with a focus on punk, Goth and alternative aesthetics.”
The Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market is a nonprofit event in partnership with Bucks County Housing Group.
Co-organizer James Lamb, founder of Rivot Magazine, will be hosting a Rivot Magazine after-party following the flea market.
Guests are encouraged to contribute two cleaning products or bring a $5 donation at the door; however, donations are not required for entry.
“All of these different aspects make the Bucks County Punk Rock Flea Market different from your average art market or other Punk Rock Flea Markets,” Keister said.
