Bio:

Craig Staats has represented the 145th District—encompassing Quakertown and Richland, Springfield, and Haycock townships—since 2015. A U.S. Navy veteran, Staats built a extensive record of local service in Richland Township, chairing the Board of Supervisors and serving on the Planning Commission and Agricultural Security Area Advisory Committee. In the 2025–26 Legislative Session, he was appointed Republican Chairman of the newly created Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations Committee. He is widely recognized for his advocacy for farmland preservation and his commitment to upper Bucks County’s agricultural heritage.
