Scott Martin, the chairman of the Senate Education Committee, asked acting Health Secretary Alison Beam and Pennsylvania Department of Education Secretary Noe Ortega on Oct. 6 to halt the letters coming from the Health Department to children who are part of contact tracing efforts after being exposed to the coronavirus.
