Protesters gathered across the country to decry an ICE agent’s fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis and a Border Patrol agent’s shooting of two protesters in Portland, Oregon.
First the Trump administration kidnapped a foreign president to kick off 2026. Then ICE killed U.S. citizen Renee Good in Minneapolis. People are outraged.
They also want ICE kicked out of the city.
Trump administration officials tried to paint 37-year-old Renee Nicole Macklin Good as a domestic terrorist. She wasn’t.

The charges range from possession of child pornography to sexual assault, child molestation and aggravated kidnapping.
Five years ago a MAGA mob marched down Pennsylvania Avenue, battled police at the barricades and stormed inside the Capitol hoping to overturn the 2020 election. Many Republicans refuse to acknowledge this history.
“Food and housing insecurity are both things that exist here in Bucks County,” O’Hanlon said. “It’s a huge problem, even in areas where you don’t think about it.”
Several officers who fought the rioters said in Associated Press interviews that the hardest thing to deal with has been that many people are playing down the violence from that day, or they’re ignoring it or claiming it didn’t happen.
