State lawmakers approved a measure last week to have state agencies examine the history, scope and continuing impacts of forced and coerced sterilization by the Indian Health Service and other providers.
“No one has seen the ordinance this bill would end up producing,” warned Food & Water Watch’s Ginny Marcille-Kerslake.
A city spokesperson says Mayor Cherelle Parker visited the site Thursday morning and saw the work being done.
