Friday, June 17: Sand Castle Winery is hosting a Drag Bingo and Happy Hour from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday night. The event is hosted by Sand Castle Winery and Philly Drag Mafia. In between games of bingo, you’ll be entertained by celebrity impersonations and performances. Besides wine, beer and cocktails, there will also be personal pizzas available for purchase. Sand Castle Winery is located at 755 River Road in Erwinna. Tickets are $25.
Saturday, June 18th: Dadurday? Triple Sun Spirits in Newtown is celebrating Father’s Day all day Saturday with a Dadurday celebration. Wear your best Dad outfit (jorts?) and bring your best dad jokes. Prizes will be awarded. They’ll also have beer specials and $1 off Old-Fashioneds, along with other games and activities. Triple Sun Spirits is located at 126 South State Street in Newtown.
Also on Saturday, Yardley hosts Music on Main featuring Magdaliz and Her Latin Ensemble Crisol. Bring a chair and picnic goodies, or purchase take-out from one of the local eateries. Music on Main is on Buttonwood Plaza at 15 S. Main Street in Yardley. The music is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Lastly, Pennsbury Manor, in collaboration with the African American Museum of Bucks County, is hosting a Juneteenth celebration from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a blanket or chairs, and hang out for a series of programming relating to Juneteenth. Pennsbury Manor is located at 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road in Morrisville.
Sunday, June 19th: If there is a father in your life, Sunday is the designated day to celebrate. There are plenty of places to go for brunch or dinner on Sunday. Maybe Steam Pub in Southhampton for burgers and beers, or Plumsteadville Inn where they are offering Father’s Day Brunch with a free draft beer for dads.
Makers Off Main is hosting Father’s Day Family Fest at the Tile Works in Doylestown from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Family Fest will have food trucks, live music, handmade goods by local makers, kids’ crafts, beer from Moss Mill Brewing, and interactive foam parties from Bucks Bubbles. The event is free, except for the foam party – get your tickets for that here.
