The Bucks County Democratic Committee will host their second annual Roosevelt Dinner and VIP cocktail reception on October 26 at Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland.
Funds generated from the event are earmarked to help candidates running in the November 7 municipal election cross the finish line and to begin gearing up for the 2024 election cycle.
“The work that we do to elect Democrats up and down the ballot wouldn’t be possible without the Roosevelt Dinner,” said BCDC Chair and State Senator Steve Santarsiero. “Its success this year will not only help us in the lead up to election day 2023, but it will allow us to lay the groundwork to re-elect Joe Biden and Bob Casey in 2024.”
Pennsylvania holds elections every year and BCDC offers support to candidates running for local and state offices, and in presidential and congressional races.
Democratic Commissioners Bob Harvie and Diane Marseglia are incumbents seeking another four-year term in the upcoming municipal election.
“The Roosevelt Dinner is a great opportunity to spend time with Democrats from around Bucks County in support of a great cause – electing Democrats,” Harvie said.
“Without the Roosevelt Dinner, our campaigns and municipal organizations would look a lot different,” Marseglia added. “The BCDC supports us year-round, so it only makes sense to come together to support them at the annual dinner.”
The evening’s VIP cocktail reception begins at 5:45 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:45 p.m. RSVP’s are requested on or before October 19.
